Shipping Policies
We are honored that you have chosen to purchase our handmade products. Below are some helpful guidelines and frequently asked questions that can help you better understand our shipping department policies and ensure a smooth, hassle-free delivery.
United States Shipping
- We proudly offer a flat-rate shipping option of $7.50 for standard-size packages within the continental United States. This does not include large wholesale shipments to retailers, only individual customer orders.
Canadian Shipping
- We currently do not offer shipping to Canada at this time
International Shipping
- We do not offer international shipping at this time. If you would like us to ship a package internationally, please send us an email inquiry.
Processing Time: Our processing time is typically within one to three business day.
Processing Time is the amount of time it takes us as a company to get your package “out the door.” PLEASE NOTE: SHIPPING METHODS (including "Pickup" orders) DO NOT INCLUDE PROCESSING TIME. Shipping methods/times begin when your package arrives at the Post Office (NOT from when your order was placed). In some cases, products may have to be made fresh or be delayed due to busier seasons (i.e. Christmas). We always do our best to get orders out the door in one business day. However, sometimes this can take longer. Not sure if your package will make it to you in time? Please see examples below for common situations:
- “Do holidays affect shipping and processing times?” Yes. If it is a Federal Holiday, in which the Postal Office is closed, the holiday will not count in processing/shipping times.
- “My mom’s birthday is Wednesday and I want to know if my package will make it in time.” If you ever have a special event in which a package needs to arrive- please contact me before you place your order! We will make every effort to get it to you on time, and can typically let you know beforehand if it will not make it in time.
Order Confirmation and Tracking: You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed, as well as when your order has been shipped. Once you receive your shipping confirmation, you will be able to track your package according to the shipping method chosen.
Problems with Order Delivery: Despite our best efforts to make sure your packages arrives safely, some circumstances are out of our control due to customer-generated error or shipping carrier problems. Please read below for information regarding uncommon shipping situations:

"I entered my shipping address incorrectly and immediately realized my error." When creating your Customer Account and/or placing an order, PLEASE double-check your shipping address to ensure you entered the correct shipping address for your orders. If you entered your address incorrectly, submitted your order, and immediately realized your entered the incorrect shipping address -- please email Becky at thewhitecottonco@gmail.com If your current order has not been processed and we can update your shipping address, we will gladly update your address to reflect the correct shipping address as provided by you.

"I entered my shipping address incorrectly and DID NOT immediately catch my error." When creating your Customer Account and/or placing an order, PLEASE double-check your shipping address to ensure you entered the correct shipping address for your orders. If you entered your address incorrectly, submitted your order, and DID NOT immediately realize you entered the incorrect shipping address, your order will be processed and shipped to the shipping address provided by you. If your order is processed before you realize you entered the incorrect shipping address, there is nothing Inglenook can do to redirect your current order. For the current order, you may contact the carrier directly to ascertain if the carrier can assist you in redirecting your current order. You may incur a fee for redirecting services provided by the carrier. Inglenook is not responsible for redirecting fees.

"I believe my package has been stolen." Once your package is delivered to your shipping address, the packages are your property and (The White Cotton Co.) is no longer responsible for the security of the package(s). It is recommended that stolen packages be reported to the local police. Authorities may ask you for evidence of the stolen packages.

"My package was delivered to the incorrect address, but I provided the correct mailing address." If you receive confirmation that your package has been delivered and the delivery location does not appear to be your delivery location, please take the time to check all points of access for your delivery location, check with each individual residing in your home to see if they retrieved your package, or check with the delivery location, if known, to retrieve your package. If the delivery location is unknown to you, please report the misdelivery directly to the carrier and ask the carrier to retrieve your parcel and correctly deliver same. (The error in shipping the package to the original incorrect address lies with the carrier, not The White Cotton Co.) The incorrect recipient may forward the package to the correct recipient or return the package to The White Cotton Co. If this is the case, this may take time. If the package is returned to the Sender (The White Cotton Co.), we will contact you via email to confirm that the correct shipping address was provided, ask if you are still interested in receiving your order, and ask if we should try shipping through an alternative carrier. The White Cotton Co. may request photographic documentation to support further follow-up. If you are no longer interested in receiving the package, The White Cotton Co. will refund the purchase amount for undamaged products, but not the shipping cost.

"My package was delivered to the incorrect address; unfortunately, I provided the incorrect shipping address." If you receive confirmation that your package has been delivered and the delivery location does not appear to be your delivery location, if you know the delivery location, please contact the occupants at that address to see if you can retrieve your package directly. If you are unable to retrieve your package directly, we will wait to see if the incorrect recipients return the package as Return to Sender (The White Cotton Co.). If Inglenook receives the returned package and the package and its contents are in original condition, we will contact you to determine if you are still interested in receiving the package. If you are interested in receiving the package, you will receive an invoice for the current flat rate shipping fee, the cost to reship your package. Once the invoice for the current flat rate shipping has been paid, the package will be reshipped. (The error in shipping the package to the original incorrect address lies with the customer, not The White Cotton Co.) If you no longer are interested in receiving the package, Inglenook will refund the purchase amount for undamaged products, but no the shipping cost. If the package is NOT RETURNED to Inglenook, unfortunately, there is no further action that will be taken by The White Cotton Co., as The White Cotton Co. shipped to the shipping address provided.

"My package says it was delivered to my home, but I cannot find it anywhere!" If your package shows that it has been “delivered” but you cannot find it, please check the following before contacting The White Cotton Co.). :
- The carrier may have placed it in a safer location. please check mailbox, porch, garage, any area out of potential weather hazards, exterior doors and any locations where the package could be placed.
- Check your mailbox again, as some packages come separately from your regular mail.
- Check with others in your house who may have accepted it.
- In rare cases, the package may show as 'delivered' but could take an additional 24 hours. If it has been over 24 hours from the 'delivered' status, contact your local Post Office™ facility for follow-up. They can often check the GPS coordinates of the delivery. The package may have been accidentally delivered to a neighbor.
- If you suspect your package has been stolen, please report with your local Post Office before contacting The White Cotton Co.
